old ms275 and mq430

hey guys ive seen so many different version of ms series amps on here what should i look for on these to tell if they are any different say than normal ones I do know for a fact they are original and they work great cause they are hooked up in my car as we speak and they are AWESOME!!!!!

Do they have master/slave ports ?

Take the bottom's off and look for the board revision right next to the power input

they both have the master/slave jacks and the MS275 says REV E and the MQ430 says REV 8 or B also there is a switch on the MS275 board that is painted yellow on 1 side and paited red on the other side I know the other switch has plue on 1 side thats the master/slave switch

The yellow and red switches it to high current for lower ohm loads

The Rev. on the MQ430 would be B....so you have some nice amps there :wink:

I have a different manual for the MS-275 than what is on this site, it talks all about the master/slave and stuff that the manual on this site leaves out, I will have it ready to be posted soon

I have both original manuals too and th TBA-1 transmitter white bur I need the reciever to go with it now which side of the switch is high current and high power

I believe yellow is for high current....not sure though....been awhile since I messed with a 275...I'm sure someone will chime in

to learn about the different ms/mq/mps series I love PG now jus really got into the good stuff when I picked these sexy mamas up. Im actually rebuidin my system for SQ now since I picked these up I jus wanna know more
