Those look nice. I think they have the right "look" for the current market, despite the fact that I'm not very well in tune with exactly what the market is. They've got that slick brushed metal that should fit well in modern rides.

I love it! Sleek understated look which in my opinion should look good in an install.

those arent the shift amps

also, i cant speak for these specifically...but the shift amps (which look remarkably similar) look GREAT and are a installers dream.

i can fit them damn near anywhere.

im very happy with the exile amps

Overall its a bit futuristic, but its done in classy so not much complaints here

they don't look too bad, but how long has it been since a new PG amp got you excited?

any chance we can get you guys to make an aniversary M-series line? You guys could sell everything you could dream of making if you would bring back the line from 10-20 yrs ago........

Surface finishes look great, however I am undecided as to the bump up on the side. M guess is they will look a lot better in person. Any plans on a connector to put between 2 amps, as I think a long run would look nice.

on an unrelated note, I am curious about the low opacity image placed below each amp. I know that a lot of people do this in concept image, but you should use an inverse reflection, not a shifted image to create a ground plane. Another easy way to do this is when photographing, but a thin sheet of clear plexi below them.

They look great on the outside, when do we get to see the inside?

Here's deal with new amps. Three models, built like tanks, big unregulated power supplies with nice feature set. Here is the marketing flappage:

ISD MONITORING SYSTEM
Every amplifier has a built in backlit display that shows the end user what is happening inside the amplifier. The ISD circuit is constantly monitoring the input signal, clipping and protection conditions of the amplifier.

ICE COOLING SYSTEM
High density aluminum heatsink, internal heatsink fins and vented diecast endcaps are all carefully engineered to work in sync to keep the amplifier running cool and impossible to overheat.

EASY CLICK CROSSOVER SYSTEM
All crossover frequency potentiometers have 41 detents or “clicks” so the end user can set the exact crossover frequency desired.

BLUE OR WHITE SELECTABLE LOGO COLOR
Flip the switch to choose blue or white logo color. When the amplifier turns on, the color will be the opposite for a few seconds as it slowly changes/fades to the color selected by the switch.

HIGH LEVEL INPUT WITH SIGNAL SENSING AUTO TURN ON
Perfect to make factory or OEM system integration simple.

Xi1500.1 - $750.00 (1500rms x 1, 1 ohm stable)
Xi2500.1 - $1100.00 (2500rms x 1, 1 ohm stable)

Hmmm... lots of gizmos... but I want to know the gorier details!! What sort of output circuitry? MOSFET or BJT?

I want to see a photo of one before I make a judgment on the aesthetics.

As for guts, I am assuming they are similar to the previous line, but with improvements? Or are they a complete redesign?

800.4 is unregulated power supply and BJT outputs.

1500.1 and 2500.1s have bigger power supplies, better switching circuitry, more power compared to previous X series.

Not to mention additional features added above.

Ive held one of these, and its pretty quality. The main chassis is a custom extrusion, and is flawless. The end caps are plastic, I think ABS, but it didn't feel cheap. In the plastic strip that goes across the middle (where it says x800.4 on the pictured amps) are some status LED's, on the right side behind it, etc. I gave it a little tap near the 'exile' logo at the top, and it felt pretty solid.

It reminded me of the older exile amps, once you pulled the large cast aluminum endcaps off, etc. At that point it became a very simple amp- which I liked. Anyway, theres just something about an all black aluminum chassis that makes it feel like a nice home audio amp.

My brother argued a bit that it shouldve had a million color, or at least a 128 selectable LED, since these are pretty available now.. It just feels a little odd to go through the trouble to make it selectable, and then only have two options, and general car audio consumers would probably have gone gaga over a 'rainbow' setting.

strange, perhaps earlier on they were plastic? I'm almost certain they were plastic on the one brian had a few months ago..
