Man than thing is a tank. A big sexy tank. I wish the rsd amps were more like that, with the heatsink on top and the terminals on bottom. Beautiful thing 8)

I think aesthetically it looks amazing, (donning flame suit) probably my favorite looking LE amp. The only things that could make it better are 24db/oct crossovers, a x10 multiplier so I can run the 4 channel active, RMD port, and class A/B sub amp section (but that doesn't really bother me). Other than that, it suits me perfect power wise, all in a sleek understated chassis.

I didnt know there was only one power terminal on it until your pic. The more I look at it the more I like. I was planning on trying to find an octane this summer but now Im second guessing. The octane is really the ugliest thing PG ever did, save the octane r. But the built in bass cube and capacitor bank is sweet. decisions decisions

it is a good lookin amp, but I still have a hard time with pg that isn't made in the good old us of a. Let me know if it is still working in 10 yrs and I might be interested.

I don't know that I would pass up on an octane LE for on, but I am a little biased......

Mainly age, I dont want to have to worry about cap replacement anytime soon. But honestly I have wanted an octane for a while. I wish the route66 wasnt a sissy. I like their cosmetics. But I like big subs doing big things. My Idmax does more than enough on 8 ohms of my x1200.1. So I would think an RSDC would do well enough for me on a roadster or octane

Couldn't have said it better myself. How much cooler would a pair of the RSD 300.1's (class a/b) with a crossover defeat have been than the 600.1!? How do they live with themselves making the next-gen 66 a 5 channel?

I'm sure size restraint wouldn't allow two 300.1's in the same chassis with the 500.4 unless they could eliminate the couple inches of gap inside the amp that is separating the class A/B section from the class D section. I know OldSchoolFool said that the reason they chose the 600.1 instead of say the 1200.1 is the amp would have a hard time fitting between the shock towers in a trunk. I know mine clears with only about 4 inches to spare overall.

I believe they could have kept things closer with all a/b amps. I think that space is to keep the class d from interfering and adding noise to the a/b
