Best place to wire in lpl44

I've presently got the lpl plugged in at the 215ix (it's controlling both 1200.1's) cause i couldn't find a 1 female in, 2 female out telephone splitter thing. well I acquired one today and before I start rearranging things just wanted to ask for answers or opinions. I was thinking that it would be better to wire the cords into the amps directly and just bypass the EQ for a direct signal. Does it even make a difference? It seemed to make a difference on my 600ZXTi when I tried it out using the EQ. wasn't as loud this way. directly into the amp was better with that setup. so does it matter?????

When you put it in the EQ, it raises and lowers the volume on your RCAs. When you put it on the amps, the RCAs stay at high voltage, but the amps scale back the volume internally. More RCA voltage means less radiated noise, so I would think that doing it through the amps is the best.

I Personally use one LPL to control both my RSD 1200.1's directly and it works fine. I use a joint coupler from the LPL cord into two female jacks and then send two line cords to my amps so they both raise the level together which is crucial to my setup because i run (2) rsd 1200.1's on one 15''..
