Hi guys, what would be the maxium amount of current i could safely pull down a 3ft length of 4awg?? I was hoping i could run 1 or 2 long lengths of 0awg to the boot and then branch off into 3ft of 4awg.

For that short of a distance, you can run a ton of power.

~1400 watts.

Hmmm... The reasen was is the D7's are rated 1600wrms and probably realistically peak at 1800wrms (although i know i wont be pulling anywhere near that its good knowing each amp would be completely covered. The annoying thing is, is that technically based on that chart i should be running 2awg with this power over a 4ft run ....however i think realistically the length needed would be between 2-2.5ft so i might be able to get away with 4awg?

If you're needing that much power you might want to consider class-D amps which are far more efficient. Considering the amps you do have though, I don't think you will have any issues with 4g, especially over only 2ft.
