Im pretty sure PG doesnt usually state either/or. Now Im pretty sure its rms because I read somewhere from someone who worked on PG at their HQ stated the manuals always states their rms max input on the manuals. But never says rms or peak also if Im correct its got a builtin line driver of 8V and usually devices that can output that can also accept that. If so then it should be ok with 13v peak cause those peaks are only for like a .005 sec or so. Which isnt a long enough peak peiod to damage anything in the eq itself. Plus usually signals arent higher than 8-9v rms max on any product past, present, or future cause there isnt allot of devices that go higher than 13-15v peak. Also Ive been doin allot of research on signal paths from HU to EQ's to Xover's cause the new system I putting together is going to have a 8-9V rms all the way from my Eq's and Bass Cube through my Xover to all three amps Im using. And believe me I done allot of research on this the last month to make sure what will pass that high of a signal onto the next with out down stepping it. Also ask stipud he would prob know better than anyone.

The manual at: http://download.phoenixphorum.com/Manua ... 5x_230.pdf states not only 8V but 8VRMS.

So itll be fine @ 8V rms max and then 12-13V peak then.
