I would only use their IDQ line for midbass but I would think and Image dynamics stuff would be half way decent but also anything thats a great deal would be better than none

Midbass, done properly, needs to be in the front of the car, since the frequencies can be located by ear. With your midbass up front, and your subs playing lower frequencies in the trunk, it sounds like ALL the bass is coming from the front of the car.

A woofer like that is not ideal for midbass. Where the hell would you put it? You would need custom door enclosures that would stick a good few inches into your foot room.

actually the kickpanels in my rx-7 are petty deep as they had speakers in them originally so I could just build them out a little and would be plenty of room 8) then I could leave the mids and tweets in the doors fitment isn,t a problem just not to sure of this series of speaker I know back in the day image dynamic 7,s used to rock but I,ve been out of the loop for a few years and just getting back into it

Honestly kicks would be a better place for your mids and tweets, with the 8's in the doors. The soundstage image is effected more by the higher frequenicies. I would think it could still work out pretty well with 8's in the kicks but it wouldnt be ideal. What kind of front stage are you working with and how well does your current speaker placement image? Do you have time alignment capabilities? I would say try it and if it isnt what you want you could always rebuild. I like image dynamic's products and I would recommend them to anyone.

This car is more intended for spl then sq it has 2 mb quart 5 1/4s in each door with seperate tweets and the kicks are pretty far down under the dash so the imaging wouldn,t be very good so with the 4 10,s in the back I,m going to need a little more midbass up front to fill the void just thought these might fill the spot what do you think?
