X200.4 bridging question

Post by spaceace »

I recently acquired an X200.4 and have been very impressed except for one thing, and I was wondering if there was a way to fix it.

I am bridging this amp to my front components, and only running one set of RCAs with the two channel/four channel button pushed in so that the single set of RCAs are in the front inputs. The problem with this is that the sound seems muted, and the left and right channels are not playing different signals, and the left/right fader no longer works.

Is the only way to fix this by getting two sets of RCA y-splitters and using the front and rear inputs? I would rather not to this, but it is certainly not a big problem if it is the only solution.

thanks!

One RCA gets plugged into the front inputs and the other gets plugged into the rear inputs, use the left input connectors and disable the 2/4 switch.
I think we've established that "Ka Ka" and "Tukki Tukki" don't work.
