Does anyone know where to get one that would match the thermal led in the RMD system? it normally is blue, goes to purple when it is in thermal and red is overload.

I'll bet the RDDP LED has two LEDs in it... one blue one red. In thermal it would just turn both on (which would look purple). It will be hard to match that to an actual purple LED.

I might have an extra one laying around. I'll check.

I am talking about the led for the rddp system that I use in my truck. the thermal one is blue for normal, purple for thermal protection and red for overload. What I want to do is swap out the single blue led in the remote voltage display with that one, and make a conversion harness for the voltage side so that I can "make" a RDDP voltage display since they are so hard to find.

since they are so hard to find.
I just sold a pile of R-Link's and SDT's that were all NIB

I saw you sell one, and I couldn't afford it.
They are hard to find cheap is what I should have said. The only difference between the SDTs and the regular display is that led right?

Should have asked me about a trade, if you had something to trade that is

I'll give you my first born but with all the drugs I took in college don't get yer hopes up.
that led seems to be difficult to find. I have dug all over and can't seem to find a blue/purple/red led in any size.

Yep that's what I was getting at.
Red + Blue vs a Purple LED will look different. So you probably need an RB or RGB LED if you want it to match.

I thought about it and could have picked up the led at fry's but would rather make it more real.
I looked up RBP but it came up with a red-blue-pink led that was in the works....... That would be hot right

?
Has anyone ever taken a close look at the standard pg voltage display? just above the regular blue led is a missing resistor(R14) and there is also a missing transistor shaped device(3 solder point labeled Q1). does anyone know if there is a major difference between the this and the moradvanced display for the RDDT with the thermal monitoring led?

Sorry, I checked last night and I don't have any more. I must have included them with the two RDDP/SDT kits I sold a couple months ago.
