I am trying to sell a pair of Phoenix Gold MS 275 amps
but wanted to know what the difference was between the two, one has a master/slave jack and the other doesn't, does any body know why?
if you were to look at the circuit boards you will probably see a spot inside labeled "revision a-d" I think there were 4-5 different revisions where they made small improvments.
the master/slave jacks jus basically mean that its an older version amp as ttocs and roland said u could prob get a little more money for it say $25 bucks but the ms-275 that collectors really want are minty w master/slave but have metal pots (gain and bass knobs) and they are resesed on them those are rare and are really earlier versions of the amps. but remove the bottom cover and next to where it says PG itll say REV B, C, D, and or etc the lower the letter the older the reversion.
