I'm going for it.

Well, I'm missing that extra umph in the SQ dept. I'm going to buy the 3 1/2" PG RSDs.
My plan of attack is as follows:
Use the 2-way passive xover that came w/the Memphis PR tweeters. It's smaller then the PG RSD xovers so they'll be easier to stash away and I'm more concerned about what's right for the tweeter then the 3 1/2" mid.
I'll cross them over at around 400Hz at what ever slope sounds good and is hopefully flatter.
Try to find a spot ON the dash to mount them as to not look stupid, but yield the sound I'm after and no permanent modifications. Some sort of pods.
The 1" tweet and 3 1/2" mid will share the power set to around 75 wrms from chs 1 and 2 of the 450 and the RSD 6 1/2" mids from 400 Hz down to 63Hz. The lowpass slope will as well be determined by what sounds best and hopefully is flattest on the RTA.
Power to be set at around 75-100 wrms (determined by freq resp curve) from chs 3 and 4 from the 450. Set in the doors at about shin high.
the mids being so low is the issue I'm having. I'm hoping that adding the 3 1/2" ON the dash will resolve my issues.
I'll try to get some pics up of the space I have and have in mind for the 3 1/2" mid.
