Found sound too harsh on these tweeter, wonder what is the best cable to pair with, in order to tame the harsh sound. I've try to play around with the position, either on axis or off axis but it's seen like doesn't help much.

u might wanna use an active or passive xover (crossover) or if ur using a external amp to power the tweets the raise ur xover point so its not to low for the tweeters say 3000hz so u would wanna set the amp or external active xover point to high-pass at 3000 or 300 w/10x turned on but that xover point would only tweeters only if ur using a 2-way component set w/passive xover then u would wanna set the amp to bypass/bandpass/full-range cause ur passive xover will do everything else for you. but it all depends on what ur application is, ie 2/3-way components, amp'ed non amp'ed, active or passive set-up, etc, etc, it would be allot better if you would elaberate on ur app/set-up

I'm using passive xover for 2 way component set and currently i turned on the hu xover and run full range on amp. What i observe from yr statement are seen like my setup is incorrect. I should turned off the hu xover and let the passive xover do his job right ? Is it these is a main reason that make the tweets sound harsh. FYI, the setting on my hu PEQ are Bass-80hz, MID-700hz and Tre-10khz.

now are u using the preouts on ur HU I assume it does have front, rear, and sub preouts right Im pretty sure if it has bass, mid, and tre xover points, the reason I ask, if so then u actually wanna lower those points to say 80 on mid and then 3000 on treble but u would only wanna set it to those if ur using dedacated amp channels for ur tweets and ur mids and if ur passives have mid inputs and seperate tweet inputs but if not then basically ur mids and tweets will basically get all mixed up with ur xover points. now if u did away with ur passives, and set ur amp to full range, and used the built xover on the hu. but also use seperate channels on ur amp/s for ur mids and highs say use put ur all ur tweets on the front side of ur amp and then use the rear side to power ur mids and then use ur HU xover. If this helps let us know also Im sure another vet on here will chime in on this. Stipud is really great at xover points cause if u get into to many xovers the u can really throw off ur octave's also which can really affect ur signal levels going into ur amps. I hope this is helpng some what

I haven't find a way to fix it. I mean i catch u try to explain to me the way to fix. I will update here for what i had done. Perhaps try to switch from passive to active, it's allow the easiest to control the signal to amp.

yes it will, you will need the correct module installed around the 3k mark to get you up and running.

u are supposed to aim it at the opposite seat. front left tweet aimed at center of right side seat and vise versa.

A bit of a late response......

If the tweeters are still new, give them some playing in time, and they should tame slightly. Focal tweeters for some weird reason take a long time to burn in.

After a few weeks or maybe even a month or 2 or playing in, then decide if the tweets are still too bright, and look for solutions to try taming them.

Hope that helps a little.
