Currently I have the pg rsd12d w/ jl 500/1 amp
as well as
pg rsd 300.4
pg rsd65cs and pg rsd65....nothing is installed yet except the rsd12d and jl500/1

but from just reading this forum...how everyone is going crazy over the rsdc...shit...should i just get one before its gone? im satisfied with rsd...but dam lol i got a lil gear envy just from how everyone is saying the rsdc does everything rsd does + some.

only thing i don't like about the rsdc is the cosmetics...

question: i currently have a 1.447 CF sub box..(which eerrin says for rsd 1.8 is actually ideal for SQ, but not so much SPL), would the rsdc be good in this box? should i get smaller/bigger box?

whats the best size box for a single 12", sonic electronix has some good deals on boxes ranging from .7 , 1.0, 1.2, and 1.4

thanks,

-vinh

get the 1.4 from sonix but if you can build ur own 1.3 w/ 3/4" mdf prob cost u the same as sonix box but will sound better and ull be able to build a perfeft fit box for ur app. Cost wise to built ur own, Lowes 4x6 sheet 3/4" MDF 21.00, box of screws and wood glue 7.00 and roll of carpet say cheapy but decent stuff pepboys roll 4x8 15.00 and adhesive spray 5.00 so $48 bucks and ull have enough left over wood and carpet to build a decent "custom" amp rack. So cant go wrong. Oh yea LABOR, FREEBIE!!! LOL Hope this helps man.

for sealed we have found 1.25 to be ideal. bigger then 1.5 seems to make it sloppy

I have an RSDC 12 and I got a box off amazon.com Its 1.25 cubic ft. It works well for me.

Use big enough screws when installing. I made the mistake of using smaller screws and the bottom of the sub blew itself right off the box. I replaced the screws with large ones and its all good now.
