i got this pg voltage display, it has always worked awesome. Now it was extremely hot here the last few days. like super melting death horror hot, for this climate anyways. it was 35C. dear god i thought i was gunna die, i am far to Canadian for this kinda weather. anyways i hop in my nice air conditioned jimmy, and turn it on. at first it read normally then i seen it changed from the fsorner of my eye. it said Hi.00 on the display. i was like WTF? ive seen it read almost 15v. it was reading at 14.00V. so i thought the votage was high. i check all my connections everything was fine, It did not affect any of my equipment. i am running 1 tantrum DD5, PG Zeropoint distro with the lead to the Voltage display. Amp is a PG RSD1200/1, to a 15" Type R, blah blah blah box specs. My Power wire is a temp 4 ga, and ground is a permanent 1/0. would this matter? system at full tilt drops voltage to 12.8 at idle and a steady 14 while driving. Big 3 is done. with grounds checked and double checked again. This is driving me crazy, dont like my stereo stuff acting up..... anyone got a clue??????

the difference in temperature might have made enough of a difference in the tuning pot that it is reading incorrectly. hook up a volt meter to check the voltage and then you can adjust the pot on the back so that it is reading correctly. If this changes with climate you might have to do agian in winter.

I would think it might have more to do with humidity. I see the temp vary 30-40 degrees from day to night here in the winter and have not seen any problems. My thermometer got up to 112 today and I still went for a sunset bike ride with the dog.
