Would a 2ft cubic box for each RSD12 ported sound good or should i make each box as big as my trunk will allow(maybe 3ft cubed each). i would want it to be tuned really low(25hz or lower) but im not sure how you exactly tune a box or port. if i could get help on how to constuct my boxes for Spl and tuned low that would be great

thanks

I would suggest about 2.2-2.3 cuft box with each port and a tuned freq about 26-29hz and Im sure that will serve ur purpose also if u have a subsonic filter on ur amp or crossover set it at around 25hz cause itll be wasted output of the sub cause u really wont hear that any freq lower than that and ur amp wont have to work really hard on the lower freq. But also if ur ports are tuned lower than 25hz with a subsonic freq set at 25hz the itll be point less with no freq lower than 25 not playing. Also why do u want freq played that low.

RSD's are made to go really low and i have a basscube so i have tracking subsonic filtering in a 2.2 ft box what should my round port size be 3x7 4x7?
