thats what i wanna be able to do (and what i am working on) whence i get artwork silkscreened - i'll be able to do stuff like that... it'll be expensive, but they'll end up being "custom matched / spec'ed and/or one of a kinds"

Nice scheme, but in my mind the most useless amp ever built by PG

They should have used a M50 or a M100 to pair with the M44!

I do agree as that is not allot of power but I think the idea was to have all 4 m amps in 2 limited items also the size

what is rte 66 m44 and m25?
i would have to agree though (i think)...
an M44 and M100 combo would be the shizz-nit!

that what I emailed so I'm wondering someone had it red from pg and then the fin got damaged so they just painted it?

i dunno DB, i am still inclined to think that was shot out of PG like that... but I could be wrong... never know.
I say that b/c to have screens made up and all that kinda stupid headache is very very very expensive especially just to do a one of. now to have screens made up and all that, to have on hand to run a number of different jobs is another story... but i have been wrong before,

Where is the little hand then ? ( Made In America )
I don't see one.....and the lettering for Route 66 looks like a different font.....almost positive PG wouldn't do the sink a different color though
I could really clean that amp up though.......it would shine so nicely

here is a white OEM for comparison
Dont see handmade icon/logo either... think becasue they had the language on there " handcrafted in USA" perhaps they felt that the icon wasnt neccessary, who knows... could be wrong i suppose.

pg did make a franked route 66 tristan20 had. It sold about 3 month ago on ebay it had the same red letter
I don't know I have seen pink m100 and m44 you never know
and yes if I get it I would have to take some time to clean it.
If the amp is from calgary than Audio Concepts would have ordered it like that they did all the highend install back in the day and have been known to order things like this to match the installs
it look right to me. hard to say till I see it

Ok......I will run with it, PG one-of......it would be cool to get all these custom R66's together and check out the serial numbers....maybe they were made last ?
That sink is still painted though........just like all of PG's stuff...painted...not PC'd

I just email the guy to see what number it was
anyone know how many were really made?

wasnt it or 1500 i dont know just guessing
maybe 6600 (

) i dunno
(addendum) IIRC the white one was number 1874, so i would be inclined to say more than 1874 units were made.
OH one other thing.. we also do KNOW that PG did have red ink for silk-screening as there are the MS series amps in red screen as well

he's been trying to sell it for awhile.... I myself being no expert think that is factory. it just looks to sharp for a hack job and the paint on the fin's matches 100% to the letters, having a silk screen done up for one amp is alot of work for a consumer to take on and then sell it. Can't see that happening. just my .02

Corey I don't know if he has but today the pics and info.
I just got excited when I seen a differnt colored one as I have already owned 2 of them.
I will let someone else have it of he can lower the price.
I asked what number it is, were he got it, and why its been serviced so we will see

I am friends with the old powdercoater from pg and know for a fact that he did all kinds of custom silk screening and pc work on everything they made for the 13 years he was there. I wouldn't doubt that this came the way it is...and I've seen first hand m amps and ms amps done in the exact red and done by pg. I like it...a lot!!!!
an m25 is worthless for subs these days...but a route 66 will do a fine job of running a front stage w a center....160*2 and 125*1 for a center...
Nice find....
