475 TI blown?

I have a 475.4 Ti. I have 4 speakers using a channel each. One channel makes the speakers sound very distorted, almost like they are blown. I have checked the speakers and they are fine. Any ideas? Where should I have the config set to for the front and back? I have 2 sets of RCA coming in for the front and rear. Using external cross overs for the speakers. I have tested those and they are fine. Has to be something with the amp. Any ideas? Thanks for the input.

This is a notorious problem for the ZX475Ti/ Ti500.4. The potentiometer pots on the amp cause problems (Variable crossover pots). Try working them back and forth to see if they clear up.

Thanks for the help, but what exactly am I working back and forth? Would tha be the config knob, or something inside the amp? Not really sure, but looking forward to trying it out.

Thanks

I tried that and nothin seemed to change. Guess I will have to take it out and get it repaired.

Happened to me too when I first purchased my Ti500.4. I just sent it to PG and had them repair it, since at the time I didn't know anything about amp repair. I've heard from others that those crossover pots get dirty and cause distortion that can sometimes be remedied by just turning the knobs back and forth. I'm sure others can chime in on what to do next.
