'EQ232 felt' (between the sliders!)

I purchased a brand new EQ232 cover from a forum member and noticed that they dont come with the felt strip that stops the dust falling into the sliders? Anyone know where i can get an original piece of that felt from? or what have other people used if anything!

I am sure others will tell me I am dumb, but I have ripped the felt off of a few of my EQ232s. The felt gets loose and starts binding the sliders. Then if you apply a bit too much pressure the slider breaks off.

Yea i can see what your saying but i would like to keep the EQ clean if possible and protect the sliders - maybe il source out a better stronger fiber cloth and then use it with some spray adhesive....
