Anyone use or seen the newest Rockford Power series amps?
I am curious about an aspect of their construction and wonder if anyone has seen one or has one?

Pretty good price if anyone wants me to be middle man and pay for shipping/handling.

No, I am talking about the new ones, the dash (-) series.
They are very compact compared to the ones you two mention. I am familiar with the series you guys are talking about, I had a T5002, and I bought a T8004 recently. They are pretty good amps, but are physically massive.
I am interested in the T600-2 or similar for example.

I have seen the photos of the board on the RF site, I have looked at the prices on eBay, I have covered the manual on the RF site, and now I am asking if anyone has touched, heard, seen, or smelled (if smelled, then clearly this amp sucks), one of these amps?
Specifically what I am after is the transistor mounting. For years now RF has used MEHSA to mount the transistors, which was good thermally, but sucked for repair work. It looks like the FETs are now mounted with good old clamp bars and maybe thermal paste under them and the spacer plate in there. But, I want to verify this.
As far as my opinion of the design, it looks like the same or similar parts count to the older larger RF amps, but with a very dense board, consisting of many daughter boards as well. All of this probably adds up to tons of power in a tiny space, and likely thermonuclear meltdown with any common speaker load.
I have used them, very nice amps , clean power stong low down, but do not make anywhere near the power the older ones did. Heat is slightly higher then the older gen , but they do lack something.
I have not opened one up so cannot confirm the tranny mounting, but it is a step back and we have had a few failures. something we did not have with the older ones.
These are now all made in the east , and while RF says that it is under their rules, you can see some of the cheaper components, I was never a fan of RF so asking me is also going to get u a slightly biased opinion.
