picked these up from the guy on ebay that has like ten of these for sell all new in the box....29 bucks each I think. As described to a tee....they are minty and I just can't help but love the ancient things. I would recommend the seller anytime. I paid for these saturday....fed ex dropped em off today. Granted he is just an hour from me...but still.

Those are the 12´s if i´m right?!? I could use two 3way passive crossovers like that from phoenix gold!

these are pg's xvr 3 way tri path crossovers. to run components and a 2 ohm sub load off of one amp....way way old school stuff. I intend to run two of them...on for each side of my front stage to run two sets of xenon comps and a single d4 re sx 8 off of two ms 2125s....4 ohm stereo/bridge mode...the crossovers were the cream of the crop when the ms line came out years back.....
they didn't come with a set....they made these and 5/1 systems too. They are made to work in tandem with the x overs in you components....think of it as a 3 way split for a 2 channel amp....

thats is old school, so the sub is supposed to be 2 ohm but what about the fronts? is that set up fro 4 ohm? it didnt say in the auction

yep...two front 4 ohm channels with 6db attenuation cut off on a 6 db slope at 160hz and the sub is 2 ohm cut off at 80hz with 12 db slope...all of the slope values and cut points on the highs as well as impedance and attenuation can be changed using the correct corresponding value of np caps and resistors in line or on the board...they are cool...and I just spotted some of the xs caps a few minutes ago for that...but I don't know what values they are yet
that was how they did it back in the day...you bought the chassis and built it the way you wanted it set in the system....

hey gxs...heres a question...if each x over will draw 4 ohms can you run 2 of the xovers off the same amp for two ohms? I don't know about the stereo/bridge mode with that? nothing in the manual about it screaming don't that I saw...

As long as the amp is good to 2ohms mono it should be fine ...........I would think .....any one else ????

thats what I am thinking too...but I am not too sure. And if it ran bridged like that wouldn't it produce greater then a 4 ohm bridged loads....I am sure it doesn't....I think it just has to have the ability to switch polarity from side to side....like strapping does to monos...sort of as I get it....which I really don't
I am going to but load on the x overs and see what each side draws...but running a mono channel between may make it tricky to use a dmm to accurately gauge what is going on by taking the impedence off one channel...I don't know....
