Hey guys, i have 2 rsdc 12s in a 2005 gramd prix with the 800.1 ryval amp, also a full hifonics setup for the front, gona install the subs this weekend in a sealed enclosure with the recommended 1.25 cu ft for each sub, trunk is all dynamatted too, what do you guys think is best for sound quality and bass, facing forward or reverse?? maybe someone has same car with similar setup? thanks man

most of the time rear facing subs will sound better and have more output.

the reason fro this is if you face it front the waves bounce off the back of the seat and bounce back, and interfere with new waves.
so the best options are to face it back.
create a baffle that seals the box off from the trunk and fires forward. (this isolates the subs so less cancellation occurs.)
obviously people have had good results doing many other things. but firing it back seems to be the easiest to implement with best results

I can truly recommend the PG rsd65cs frontspeakers. It sounds really great and the best of all is that it play very very loud without the treble hurt in the ears. It replaced my Boston Acoustics Pro`s that cost 3 times more but even though i think the PG sounds better. At very high levels the sound is still soft.

ya, i checked those out too, the hifonics zues 6.5 in components seemed like they had better specs for the same price, i matched em with the zues 6x9s in back and a 4 channel zues amp, PG 4 channels were a little too much in price, anyone had the new zues series? im putting em in this weekend
