M series heatsink

Is it possible to have a heatsink custom made that would match the Phoenix Gold M series amps? I'd like to put 4 M50's under one seemless chassis and very closely match the cosmetics of the M series amps.

Yes, A machine shop can mill one up. and you can have it annodized.
Or you might be able to find an extrusion that is close.
But either way it will cost some $$$$

Not sure if it will measure up precisely (should be close) but you could do 2 M50's in an M100 sink. In other words, 2 M100 sinks with the 4 M50's in them.
It would probably be cheaper to find 2 beat M100's then having them milled.

Thanks for the input. I'm not in a big hurry to get this done so we'll see how it goes. Ever heard of anyone else doing anything like this?

Quite honestly, if you mount M amps next to each other, without their lower and top covers (or with modified ones), you can make it look like one sink. The ends are quite accurately cut and it is pretty easy to make the seam hard to notice. I have seen that done before with great results.

I´ve made 3 covers for my route66, as i'm going to paint it another color but won't mess up the original. a local company that makes signs and stickers, printed new text and graphics...

I'll give the side by side mount without the covers a try when I accumulate the amps. I had a M44 and M100 that had a very noticeable difference in the tint to the annodized coating so just something for me to consider. I look foward to seeing that Route 66. Thanks again guys.

if the tint is the main issue just have all the heat sinks plated or anodized at the same time. it will be a lot cheaper also. there are even home kits for this.
