no, its not a phone line cable.
what you can use is a phone handset cable. the are HARD to find with out being the coiled style however

the plug on the cable for the rmd is smaller than a phone cable plug. Like bfowler said the handset cable will work.

Aren't they RJ45 connectors using cat5 cable? Ethernet Cables? I can them them to any length, just need to know the color code they use. Is it the same as Ethernet?
1. white/orange
2. orange
3. white/green
4. blue
5. white/blue
6. green
7. white/brown
8. brown
Like I said, I can make them any length you need. Just need the color code.

The RMD uses a 4 wire cable!
Wire colors are:
red
yellow
green
black
I just converted a ZBB34 to work with the RMD voltage display!

This would be great information to post in the "How To" section of this forum.
