Eclipse head unit question

I have an Eclipse DVD player I am checking out for a friend. I don't have the 10 pin harness, so I need to know what pins to power up to test the unit out. Does anyone have a photo of the 10 pin connector so I can see what wires go where?

Thanks!

I have no experience with Eclipse, so I don't know what connector is normal. I will post a photo of the back of the unit.

I got a Eclipse CD player at home. I can look at it once you post the pics and see if they share the same plug. I think they would, I know my alpine TV and older Alpine CD player share the same plug

Here is the back of the unit. I am pretty sure the circled plug is what I need the info on.

Go to a local audio shop, you are looking for a male side Vehicle wire harness. (The harness you buy to replace a hacked OEM harness, not a harness for installing a new radio)

I am 100% sure the harness is a direct fit to an OEM harness, but I cannot remember which one it is. It really looks like a Nissan OEM radio harness.

Its a Toyota Harness, Metra part number 71-1761

The deck is a direct plug & play in a Toyota.
Or google the pin out for the part number listed & you can use that to hook up the Eclipse.

x2. I recognized it as soon as I saw it. The molex you circled in the pic contains the front speaker and power wires. The smaller one to its right is for the rear speaker wires and is included with the 71-1761.

Eric,

Did you get what you needed yet? If not I think something that might help WAS posted on one of the Tacoma forums, as I recall coming across it months ago when I was thinking about one of these. The older Eclipse double din's plug directly into the factory harness...

I'd have to do some digging to see if I could find it though...

I have looked up the 71-1761 briefly, but the photos of them are too low res to figure out what wires go where. I will keep looking. If however any of you find a photo which would let me know which wires go where, please post it.

I've got a busy day today, but I will try to look for that if I can, if it even helps.

I've also got a Eclipse 7200 on the way and the Toyota wiring harness at home, so I can look there too for you. I think it's the same model number you mentioned.

Thanks man!

Is that the plug or the socket?

That's the pinout if you're looking at the back of the deck like in your pic, or what I guess we could call the socket.

Deck powered on and seemed fine. Nice display. I would like one of these if it would actually fit in my vehicle.

Which model was it Eric, do you remember?

BTW, I tried finding that link I mentioned on the Tacoma boards, but no luck. But looks like Dedly got you the info though.
