If I had to change anything as far as comps here is what I would do:

Mids: http://www.diycable.com/main/product_in ... 529acfe85b

Tweets: http://www.parts-express.com/pe/showdet ... r=264-1018

Custom Crossover due to the 6 Ohm mid, 4 ohm tweet. Or easier still go active.

Or just keep the RSd tweets, I think they are decent and silky :)

Anarchy world-class distortion performance. Is this stating that their drivers are great at creating distortion??? :shifty: :shifty:    :hmm: I think they might have been better off saying "Anarchy world-class distortion FREE performance."

Just a thought...

I just got mine today. They are beefy. Modeling them up in WinISD they drop off well before 2500hz. I dont think they are gonna be that great in a 2-way in car. I am gonna try but will prob go 3-way. I have then breaking in on the bench, nice excursion on them.

Focal is very well know for fluid mid range and transparency
I found the jl to be a little to much mid bass but i bought the first set when they came out in `1999 i worked with a company that sold jl

Scott check this link out: http://www.hometheatershack.com/forums/ ... oices.html

Ideally they want the Anarchy crossed at 1500Hz. Their curves look good, but I think it is a very low crossover point... Not sure how it would actually sound.

Scott please keep us posted on how the Anarchy works for you! I am very curious :)

Misfire, check this spec doc out:

93mm deep, so pretty deep.

You may want to look into the ti elites then. They are very smooth, but they lack in midbass. If you can find the 9's, its a difficult set to beat.

god that 6.5 looks so beefy. But I am going to go the route of active soon and plan on getting mach5audio mli65 with a seas 27tff

mli65
http://www.audiojunkies.com/product/844 ... 65-reviews

seas tweeter
http://www.madisound.com/catalog/produc ... ts_id=1466

This will be my first active set up and I am very excited to see what these babies can do.

Plan on running the 6.5 from 80hz-2000hz and the tweets 2000hz and up

Should be pretty sweet. But the main thing is I have heard excellent things about both products especially the mli65. I will let u guys know how it does.

btw I still have to get started on my review of the SSA icon 12 in a 2.25 cf tuned to 32hz. 1 word. perfection.
