RSDC 10's

Post by mistawikid »

I'm running RSD dual 4 ohm 10's and I'm seriously thinking about swapping them out for the competition version, but I don't want to redo the box,,,, Again! Anyone know the cubic feet needed to make the RSDC's knock: maximum and minimum? I checked the PG website with no success

the 10's have about the same box specs. anything .5-.7 will make them bang.

the real problem is the bolt holes and mounting size are different :(

thats cool, thanks for the knowledge!! I figured I might have to drag a saw in the ride and turn on a shop vac while I modify the holes! Thanks! Next, upgrading the amp.... lol

Unfortunately the RSDC has SMALLER holes than the RSD. I tried with no avail to get the RSDC to fit my RSD box but it still leaks air :(

However, you can just make a second baffle and screw and glue it right on to the face of the original box! That way you don't have to rebuild anything, and you have an even better, stiffer box for your RSDC!

Edit: Ah I forgot you already carpeted your box. Hmm... with a bit of foam gasket you might be able to get it centered in the hole, and not have it leak. It's a close fit! You will probably need to fill your existing mounting holes from the RSDs as well.
