I have a 97 Dodge ram Reg cab

Currently :

Soundstream Exacts 6.5 in the doors
Memphis 4" behind the seat in factory location

2 - 10" Planet Audio woofers . RX2104 or something like that

1- Fosgate punch 200 ( 1996 model BBQ look )
1 - Eclipse 4 channel ( Not sure of model # )

My thoughts :

PG - 6 channel ( if I can find one ) small enough to go under the seat .

keep components in doors till they die . or replace ?

Subs ( I want something that doesnt need alot of cu ft of space )

Suggestions Please .

Thanks

Slick

good luck on the 6 channel...i have been hunting for a while too

for subs....the rsdc is pretty much the end all of subs that you can find under $250 (even though they typicly go for ~120 shipped) they are efficient, accurate, extend ultra low, dont need a big box, and get plenty rowdy if you want. they really are pretty much flawless

The only 6 channel you will find in that size will be the octane 5.1. They are pretty rare though. I have one (and it fits perfectly), but it is pretty weak. Ever since I switched, I have been wantin to go back to the 450/1000.2

Is there a reason for the 6 channel? You could probably just use the head unit for power to the rears and get a 4 channel (fronts on components, rear bridged to sub)

Agreed. I switched from a Ti900.7 to a Ti500.4 in my install in order to free up some trunk space. I don't miss having amp power on the rear channels at all! The 500.4 is very powerful and veratile in a tiny package.

The only 5/6ch I can think of that small is the (Brax) Helix HXA500. It's about as big as a keyboard! One of these days I need to install mine :P

Finding something like a xs6600 , is like looking for a needle in a haystack it sounds like .

a better question is how quick do you need it
you can alway find what you need if you have the cash and time
to bad you didn't want my focal set up

point of order...the xs6600 is a pretty big freakin amp. its wider then typical xs's

there is a octane 9:0.5 but the sub channel needs to be run at 2ohm for it to make decent power
