I have a bass cube lying around and i have a couple questions about it. (It is the Tantrum Version of bass cubes by the way) Do i need the factory frequency adjuster cable to work the bass cube, because i have a reg adjuster that is the phone cord type that has just the knob on it. And secondly could i use it in my home application? for my subwoofers? I have a power converter i already use with my line driver for them.

What you are talking about is the lpl44 knob I believe, and to the best of my knowledge it will not work as the remote for the basscube. as for the home application, I can't see why not, if you had the proper remote for it.
Somebody chime in if I'm leading him the wrong direction here...

Yes please chime in. Would there be anyway to rig up a couple knobs to make my own switch so i dont have to buy a whole new one? Im capable of wiring and getting knobs/fuses/and anything electical and i have the lpl44 cord and knob as well.

I haven't been on here for a while, but I seem to remember someone was making basscube remotes at some point. Hopefully someone else will remember.

I have one knob/pot and the phone cable has 4 different wires in it, yellow, black, green, and red. So i just need to rig up something to act like a remote and it doesnt have to look pretty or have lights it just needs to work so i can use my cube. So wiring scheme anyone?

what do you mean power what? The basscube remote was more then just a knob.........
Again, what are you doing with an 8v converter? 8vdc?

Cecil modifies Rockford Fosgate units to work with PG BC.
He did 5 for me and they work flawlessly other than the "Sweep" knob functions in reverse.

ttocs what im saying is i have a plug wired up so i can plug the bass cube into the wall.(the remote, + and -). What i dont have is a remote. I have a lpl44 pot and cable, thats it. So i imagine i will need a switch then? and a boost and freq knob? My problem summed up is, that i need a bass cube remote, and i have parts to make one i just need step by step help to wire it right or if anyone can make one for me il pay for one.

It might just be easier to try and find one that someone is able to part with or ask someone to make one for me
