Sub firing in trunk or into cabin?

Ok so my back seat doesnt fold down, however the middle part of the seat folds down and is the perfect size for a sub to fire into the cabin.

I have a big ass trunk so its either sub fires towards back of the trunk or fires into cabin.

Few questions, with the sub firing into the cabin, if i have 3 rear passengers in the back and the seat is up, how would the sub sound firing bassically half an inch from the seat back.

And also, would the sub sound good to the passengers or would they more just feel the bass since the sound wave hasnt had space to gain power.

The most important question is, what sounds better/louder into cabin or into trunk with seat up?

Fire it towards the back, leave the hole shut. Only fire it into the car if you plan on sealing off the whole trunk from the interior.

Nice link, it explains why my subs fire to the back of my suburban and why I get an extra octave of bass with my rear window down. Cool !
