hi guys i have a ltd edition octane amp, big carbon look one. and the high pass left channel has gone very quiet. does this mean my amp has blown a channel?

i have tried swapping the rca leads over and its still the left speaker thats quiet. i also tried a different speaker on the high pass left channel and this was quiet as well.

i am yet to test the low pass side, but will do on sunday. i have my sub running off this and it seems fine. but i have bridged the channel.

please help i love my amp and dont want it to be dead.

Have you tried adjusting the crossover/sensitivity pots at all? The TI series were notorious for dirty potentiometers that disrupted the output to the speakers.

like they said, pots tend to get dirty from time to time and can clean themselfs by just adjusting them back and forth. This is why you will often hear static or dead spots in old stereos while adjusting the volume.
