i just might have to tie it into the 12" Ti D-elite i have for fun
BUT that will be at the directive of the owner- if he would like me to, perhaps as a bench test...
BUT would have to have a look at the spec's of bridging the 2500, and see if it is even viable/appropriate to do so w/ a 12" elite Sub... I have the JL's in car, and a couple 10" JL W3's laying around as well... I'm sure i can work something up as for a bench test and make video/pic's etc....?

its not the power the ti elites need 505x1 at 2ohm bridged I think
but it will rock the jl's

if thats the case- which sounds about right....
Couldnt i run 505 to each voice coil?? there are three amps in there- 2 of which are bridged already/internally... could i run 505 to each voice coil???

or not the way to go with that in/on this unit or for the sub? i dont want to jam anything up... maybe just the JL's then...

I can bring car into shop and wire it up no problem- that should be a sight- or sound i should say

you better have a bigger power supply to run 2 MPS2500 amps 2ohm bridged
I know when I tried mine with the items I had at home could not

i have a 50a supply and a 100a supply

ORi can tie it into the d-block on car and run the engine maybe turn idle up slightly...?
theres a 220a alt in there????

but i bet the 100a supply should be okay- i mean i am not gonna jam it out... as much as i would like...BUT
whats more is that my head unit is fucked- only can play CD's which i would prefer using the ipod...

BUT CD will be just fine

With my 75amp power supply that amp absolutely rocked my home sub at just 4 ohms. It shook the glass so much I was worried it would shatter. Those MPS amps are deceptively powerful.

^^ so 100A supply - should do the job- or maybe daisy chain them and make 150A if that is even possible, which i think it is...

BUT 100A sounds like it'll be sufficient

At 4 ohms yes. Power one amp off the 50 and the other two off the 100.

^^^ but i should not use the Ti D-elite though...
AND OF COURSE this is all w/ the "rubber stamp'ing"(directive) from/of the owner.

BUT i can drive car into garage/shop, and fire it up on the JL's if those would be the most suited subs for this bench test...? OH wait, and i do have Ipod adapter i can run directly into the amps now that i think about it- it's how i use the 66 on the table now in shop for music...? hum :hmm:

Why not the 12d? Dual 4 ohm coils should be perfect for your bench test. Run one MPS per coil gain matched.

^^ well- i dont have an enclosure
not for a 12"- i have 10" dual enclosure i could put a couple W3's in, or of course back on the W6's in the car.
I dont have enclosure for a 12" driver...

What is that going to fit inside? Perhaps a train?

I guess not...

I think it is 53" long, and that is rather cool - but demands alot of space for sure...

it would look cool flush mounted to the roof of a sport utility or something but it would need the roof reinforced and would raise the center of gravity enough to make it a roll-over hazard.......

good stuff mang. There is no such thing as too much PG!

it just seems that all that plexi is just beggin for some kind of etching. Nothing too crazy but something nice simple and classy. :hmm: Maybe like the pg surfboard or something? Or you could write your name, address, SSN and phone number(As well as the number of every smith in the metro phonebook) with all the space on there......

and yes the yellow ties gotsta go!

You could buy a volvo estate and turn it into a two seater, so it might fit. Or put it in a roof mounted luggage box.

so what is this exactly? a ms1000 and a half.

its is 3 MPS2500 boards in one chassis that predates MS1000's. It is more than likely the reason for the MS1000, as was stated previously in another thread. It is just awesome!.
