this is what I was told.....

the 10's have about the same box specs. anything .5-.7 will make them bang.

the real problem is the bolt holes and mounting size are different

i have 4 of them :) (not in 1 car)

they fucking rock. the are pretty equal to a cvr from 50 and and up. but they are painfully awesome down to the mid 20's . (this is all in a sealed .6 box)

i can't imagine needing another sub. they are efficient AND can handle power if needed. (i have paired them with various amps ranging from 150 - 800 watts. )

i have pitted them against true SQ subs like idq's and SSA dcons. street beater subs like type-rv2's, w3's, and cvr's

i am convinced i will never need to buy another sub

ok... is it a typo that the RSDC10 for SQ needs a .2 sq/ft box for SPL?

i just found this...

Image

.382 read alot on them, seems to be what people are running on them...if you get a .5 box the sub will take up some room, and be close i think..

it will easily take the 500watts. i like them a bit bigger, i would squeeze .5-.6 if you can. .3 is ok, but the low end extension benefits from a little more airspace.

.2 cu ft!? I was curious enough to have to check, that is just under 1.5 gallons. That is an itty bitty box, I would have to hear it to believe it as it would almost seem it would be better to run it IB.

I agree... .2 is incredibly small for a 10. heck, its real small even for an 8... I run my CDT 8's in .4 each and I think they could use a little more air.

a 11 x 11 x 10.5 box with the 0.09 driver volume will get you to 0.38 cf , so thats what im going to make ... o and thats with 3/4 mdf...

or if i went 11x11x10.75 it would give you 0.393, 0.011 for glue and Silicone sealant....

and if you where doing a rsdc 12" if the box was 15.25x15.5x13.25 , that would give you 1.179 with the 0.13 Driver Volume with 3/4 mdf...

for any one looking at the 12 rather than the 10...

o and thats all SQ sealed
