the sub i got was 2ohm..

on the MB Quart i was going to run it at 1ohm..

but on the Phoenix Gold i can only run it at 4ohm..

i no i can with that sub, but what is better amd why ?

why would you not buy the one of 6 ryval 4001 there a member that is sell it 100 each plus shipping there is only 6 ever made 400 x1 a/b very nice AMP

my 2x2 ohm sub cant do a 2ohm amp only 4 and 1 and that amp at 4ohm would only give me 250w rms

i will take a class a/b over class d anyday
sorta like back in the day a m25 25x2 sounds better than most 200x2 from clarion alpine ect
they just sound better and it cool there is only 6 ever one heard by pg and the other 5 are for sale

ya, i would like to go all PG stuff, im 35 and been buy'n PG since i was 15 ! so if there is any way to go a pg amp i will, but i want the right amp also...you know....

it is a a/b amp, but as stated above. its a 200@4ohm and 400@2ohm amp. there are only 6 of them because pg was bought by aamp before they were put into production

the 4001 a better amp then the mb quart, but optimized for 2ohms, so it wont make the power you want. the ryval 2 channel one the other hand isnt much better as it doesn't have a port for a bass remote.

i would actually watch either of these guys

i know on paper 300@4ohms from that tantrum doesn't sound as good as 500@1ohm ....but i will bet you dollars to Canadian dollars it would beat the tar out of the mbquart amp.

and they both have lpl ports

i think 1/2 the price and a one of 6 is way cooler
pg will always sound great a/b will be better than any class d
but its just me

even the tantrum 300.2 is surprisingly beefy.
