girlfriend needs a deck, help me pick

Post by Bfowler »

requirements are...

rear usb input
24bit dac
F + SW preouts

hp crossovers would be a plus

trying to stay under 200 could go a bit over.

i would love to find a kenwood x592 or simpler, but they seem to all be gone

leading contenders so far are:

followed by

but i would love to hear some more input

Brian, if you can find a Pioneer Premier 880PRS or even a 860MP I will trade you straight across for a Kenwood XXV-01D 25th anniversary deck that I got from Wakeup.

I forgot the model, but that Kenwood eXcelon you sold me has been working awesome for my wife.

The screen did die, but that was caused by some resistors on the board which are known to overheat. I removed them and replaced them with higher rated parts and the deck has never had another issue.
