2005 fosgate p10002

i know its not a phoenix gold but i know there a some guys in here that know about the fosgates,

does anyone know if it is allright to run it a 2ohm bridged? i just came across one, its rated at 1266watts 4ohm bridged

i would not attempt it. its not overbuilt like the older punches and only stable to 4 ohms mono.

does that mean it would just shut off from being to hot at 2ohms bridged?

it should shut it self down b4 it cooks it self.there is i p1000bd or p1001bd cant remember exact #. that is a class bd mono that will run @ 2 ohms. the only rf amps that i have seen run at 1 ohms are the old punch 45 and it got super hot but it did it.
