Refurbished M44

Vin and I "refurbished" my M44 I bought from Eric D a couple years ago. Eric fixed up the inside and Vin had the back plate re-powder coated. I bought a new face cover from PG and found some gold plated screws to replace the originals. Amp is mint and looks new out of the box now.

What did you do with the front plate that you replaced because that one looks better than the one I have on mine. how much was the front plate from PG? Was it new old stock?

Nice work Mando! I just got a B-day call from a friend who says he has an M44 sitting in his garage. Might have to add it to my collection. Thanks for the pics!

I gave the old M44 cover to FuzzyHoNutz, not sure he still has it as it was for a project he had going at the time. I believe I bought the last cover they had, mind you it's been 2 + years since we did this.

why do people mount their amps in swimming pools?

folk should take a lot more care installing stuff
