I got some Artic Silver with the ceramic in it for around 8 bucks on ebay, supposed to be the best shit out there? Ive used it on my cpu's and have no prob's with it..beware some thermal compound is slightly conductive, make sure what your using is not..

i second artic silver, i just redid my older 939 processor heat sink so i can over clock it and i really like the thickness of the artic silver.

i will use it on my next amp rebuild.

Also, no one ever told me this but dont use your fingers to spread it as tho oils will cause problems. If you need to spread it around turn a sandwhich bag inside out and put your hand in it. Also if you are taking old compound off you can use coffe filters and high grade rubbing alcohol. Coffe filters dont have lint. I use tuniq tx-3 and I like it but i have heard great stuff about arctic silver. Tuniq also makes a removal liquid, mx3 it think, it works very well at removing all the old stuff. Of course you dont want it thick either. You may know all of these, I didnt my first time and things went less than good.
