Building a custom Enclosure for a PG Ti Elite 12"

Post by Mongu »

Alright. I have been working on a custom built enclosure for my PG titanium elite 12 for a while now. After many hours of research, I am just getting into the construction process. I have built my box to be just over 2 ft cubed. I plan to make this a ported enclosure and this is where I am conflicted. I have seen tons of calculators for port length and so on, but nothing for a custom enclosure (everyone assumes the common rectangular enclosure). With a volume of 2 CuFt, what are the best dimensions for a port vent (rectangular) that would yield a 31 Hz tuning?

Any insight would be helpful.

Thanks!
