Ti DEQ not responding

Post by tim »

Help!
My 8 year old Ti DEQ is not responding to my laptop and there is no sound. The comms lights are orange but if I reset the unit(pull the power and reconnect) they go green but still no sound or communication. It looks like a software issue but who can fix it? I am in the UK.
Thanks guys

Is this the first time running it or have you had it in for a while?

Just to start simple, you pc is running windows 2000 right?

Hi there.
No this unit has worked well for many years. Nothing has changed in the configuration recently. My laptop runs XP and I'm on a true serial connection.
Cheers

Hi
I've used this program before on the DEQ. I'm pretty sure XP is based on 2000. What worries me most is the orange lights in the window and the four blue lights on the controller! Looks expensive!

xp is very basically just a prettied up win2k but not everything is the same, especially with sp3 installed whcih im sure it is. If you need copy of win2k let me know Ill send ya one.

Edit: well lemme rephrase that. if you live somewhere in the States, didnt notice your flag. I dont really have 20 dollars to spend but if you live anywheres around here and are in reach of the usps then we should be good.

XP should be fine. I would check on another computer, if you have one available.

Hi there
I've tried it on other PC and it's the same. Is there anyone that can still service these?

You might try contacting the new PG?

http://phoenixgold.com/support.aspx

Of course this would mean shipping it overseas :(
