Building something MS-related
After a lot of thinking and falling in love with the look of number 1 i decided to build another one! The sink is already stripped and ready to get powdercoated. Here are some pics of the stripped sink.

I would have had all parts together for my second one but after i saw the MS875 Nico built for u i started thinking if i shouldnt sell the MS2250´s i have and go for something like your MS875 is. But i will just go with all outputs bridged so i would have a 4 Channel VersionPedi wrote:Damn Joerg, I like your new avatar picture...
The shroud is really nice on the MS1000 sink...

Cool...
I am really looking forward to se my MS875 in real life... It really is stunning.
But back to topic, I have said it before, but the double shroud is really sexy.
Remember the one Andy once owned?

Joerg; like I said before; your franked MS1K had my eyes glued to the screen of my comp. when I saw it....soo cool.
Now building a second one..?
To me that would be like building a second eiffeltower in Paris....
Try something NEW, for you have shown to have the skills. [and the parts
]
One thing is for sure; if there is going to be a second MS875 [eiffeltower], it will be compared with the first.
Why not build a MPS5000...............or a MPS4480, or...,or....

I also think it's best to innovate.
That double Team 2250 above looks great... aside from one detail which bugs the hell out of me. It is not symmetrical! Why oh why cut up two sinks and not make it perfectly pleasing to the eye. So close to being perfect
How about a more square shape amp, so it might actually fit in euro cars. Perhaps a double 2250, square format, totally symmetrical! Build it and I may even fancy it one day, funds permitting. These mega long amps hold no interest personally, as they won't fit anything

Those shrouds usally sell for arround 400USD if they are brandnew! I got two that are brandnew, with two brandnew looking MS2250´s in it that i already recapped. I can´t just cut two brandnew shrouds into two pieces. I tended to take those boards out and raplace them with 2 MS2250TA boards and sell them. That would leave me with my last used shroud which i already cutted into two pieces again and 2 more original MS2250 boards for the second DFAS.KUB3 wrote:I also think it's best to innovate.

On the other side i could get another MS1000TA right now if i sell just one of my original shrouded MS2250´s and build something that would really be bad as hell!

Freud would have a field day. So your amps are a cock substitute
For a fraction of the price you could get new shroud templates cut with a lazer or water jet, then folded. I've had pieces made for surprisingly little. No need for welding, body filler, or cutting up the few remaining original shrouds.
