BEHOLD; THE MS875

This is the world first [and maybe the only-to-be] MS875.
It features ; FOUR MS275 amps in one MS1000 HEATSINK, handmade endplates, modificated MS-powerbars, goldplated screws, and a unbelievable amount of time to get a design that looks nice, plus make it functional at the same time.
Installing new caps was only one of many steps of preparing the boards for this amp.
IT HAS BECOME A UNIQUE 8-CHANNEL MS-AMP.
The owner will reveal himself shortly, as he is unaware yet that after one year waiting, his amp is finished today.
This project may look simple to some of you, but I can assure you it presented a lot of technical problems to be solved; I am very glad I could complete it today.
ENJOY!

Shit Nico that turned out way better than I expected! You did one hell of a job!
I love the way you used the power bars! Ingenious! That's always been the ugliest part of MS275's!
And you mounted the terminals inverted, because we all know this will be displayed in all it's glory!!!
Exclamation mark!

This is pure porn. I wonder how it will turn out, powered up and with a plexi installed. This is friggin awesome!!
NICO, You're the man!!!!
Congrats with this nice piece of art! No one will EVER imagine all the troubles you have gone through, to get it like this. Too bad really, coz I know how much thinking and headache this amp has caused.
I am stunned and impressed. This is your legacy...

Yeah, that was one of the main things I really wanted. It really was lots of work to get that done....

Yeah, you wish...
I guess it will only be produced only ONE of theese amps, ever...

Isn't this the first 8 channel amp "from" PG? Coooool, hehe...
I guess they will never come up with a powerplant like this...

Hehe....
So what can I say?
It is hard to think back to the time when I was talking with Nico about this amp. When he finally said "yes" to build this monster for me, he never imagined how much emails, labour and effort that this project has caused.
Take a look at this pic, it seemed so easy in the beginning. "Just" throwing 4 boards in a MS1K sink was my intention, with new caps and some powerbars... Damn, I was wrong...
And as the sink arrived Nico (actually, I bought the heatsink from JOMA back in 2007 - and Andy helped me out on the deal. Went actually smooth...

), he "threw" the boards in, just for fun... Even at that time, we never figured how much effort it would turn out to be....
But, now it is finally here: The
Phoenix Gold MS875 QUAD
I cannot wait to see it live....
