2250's typically came with the team gold plexi
2500's and/or 2125's came with the cb layout plexi's
my vote is 2500 or 2125
and as said before- neither are no where near 2000W

guessing from the end plate, I would say it is a 2125. The MPS's had the little slots in them, don't see them.

ms2125, it doesn't have raised end plates like an mps2500.. early mps2500's (like mine) also had the short end plates like 2125 but wiring arrangment inside was a lot differant.

So; MS2125.
specs are easily found for this amp, price all depends on the actual state this amp is in; you will need detailed pics plus pics of the amp powered to make any kind of bid.
GOOD LUCK.

All the MPS amps i know came with the red/black speaker wires. I´ve never seen another one! This would be a MS2125 then

they did come with zeropoint cable after a certain revision just same as 2125's, mine has red/black but terminate on same side! very early revision!

If I'm not mistaken my MS2125 has red/black speaker wire I could be wrong though it's been a long time since I looked at it. Of course I won't be home for 2 months to confirm that.

The only MS2125´s with the zero point wires are the REV.E and upper so there is a big chance u have a MS2125 with the black/red wires. I had one myself and just finished recapping a few MS2125´s for a friend. One of those had the red/black wires as well.

Good amp YES. For you depends on your needs.
if its in working order and the cosmetics are on the mint side. It would go for 350-500 (Original box and everything that came with it would put it in the 400-$500 range)
Working order but the outside is not so good $150-225
Nonworking or has electrical problems but the end plates, connectors and heatsink are mint I would pay $200-300 (the board can be fixed)
Keep in mind that is what I think the amp would go for in here. If he is hard up for money remind him the amp is at least 15 years old
you can get the caps done by a few people in here as well as bur brown op amps installed if you like. As for price I will leave that to some one who knows more on replacing caps.
