Post by JayGold »

Can someone please provide some info on the difference or similarities other than one is Tantrum one is ZeroPoint and the remaining I don't know?

Is any one of these more reliable than the other?

The middle one looks like sticker's that were put on top of a painted amp.

Never seen the logo that big or the 600 that big.

The bottom one is the zx version.......if I'm not mistaken the zx600 uses through hole on the board while the later Ti versions were SMD on the boards.....I could be wrong though.

So your thinking the middle one which is much darker is potentially a fake???

Not a fake, it just looks like it's been cosmetically altered with new logo's and possibly paint or stripping of the original clear coat.
XS2300, XS2500, XS2300, X200.4, X100.2, Ti21000.4, Roadster 66

This is exactly the info I was looking for...the middle one is locally up for sale and it looks like I'm gonna pass this one up as it kinda looked funny to me too.

Thx

The ZX600Ti, and the Ti600.2 are internally the same amp.
Got "schooled" by member shawn k on May 10th, 2011...
No longer really "in tune" with the audio industry, and probably have not been for some time.
Hands down the forum's most ignorant member...
Don't even know what Ohm's law is...

Thanks Eric, been awhile since I had those in my hands...couldn't remember if there was a difference or not.
