ms shroud

right i need to replace the perf mesh on my shroud i dont have a original to copy

sooo i need to know the hole diameter and center to center of the holes so i can order some new meshing


anyone help???

do you mean the actual perfs then? or the mounting holes??

the perfs themselfs the mount holes im good with

the holes are 3mm in diameter and centre to centre of next one is 5mm.

sorry to be a pain in the ass but whats the thickness of the perf also?

looks to be 1mm thick.

There's a few on ebay. Aluminium makes cutting and bending easier

its 18 gauge steel, but 16 gauge aluminium would be better. i can get it either way and bent as well. powder coating isnt a issue.

i have got a local perforated mesh stockist i am going to do it as it was when new so i will l be using steel and getting the whole shroud powder coated
although looking at the shrouds base it actually looks like it was stove enameled ?

i thought that they where powder coated, but u never know.

As soon as u try to get the paint off those shrouds you realize they are powdercoated for sure. 8) Innotec paint stripper doesn´t work on it. :shock:

just grab regular piece of aluminum and get busy with a drill press! :D
