i have a older pg xs2300 amp , i notice by searching the internet theres several variations?? mine is the one with a xover chip and no subsonic
anyway , my paper users manual says 4ohm when bridged . yet some of the online stuff i find says 2 ohm bridged
see here (not my exact model)page one says 2ohm..page 3 says ohm
i wanted to run a dual voice coil single sub with it..shows a 2 ohm load
2 ohm 2300

i dont know every thing about the xs series but a friend of mine ran one for a while briged at 2ohms on two fosgate 12s and hit 142db. that amp has some balls make sure you have a good size power wire and maybe a capacitor.also set the amp at its hardest hitting setting with out distortion. the amp should have a protection circuit for overheating as my little sappire amp does and ive ran it 2 ohms on a 15 and its still golden.

Be careful with your gains. I had an xs2500 recently powering my s8l7 sub on a 2ohm load bridged, and I hit thermal with it. I had the gains set for 500watts as well, which was a little much for it. So make sure you got ample cooling with it as well. Once I turned my gains down, I didn't have a problem.
If you got good power, a cap, and good cooling, the xs will be fine at 2ohms, just don't get crazy with the gains.

the 2300's are a little better then the xs2500"s for running at 2ohms. especially the older larger ones. the heat sink to power ratio is higher
make sure to give it its own 4awg power cable and install the amp in a way that lets the heat sink get some air flow and you should be ok
