does anybody know for sure whether or not 2500's had master slave ports/configurations?
what ms amps had them? was it all of them and just the earlier production units...or only certain amps in the beginning??
the question at hand is that these 2500's in the surf board of pedi's all have master/slave config's...? might that mean possibly that they are 2125's? or doesnt it matter?

Good question, even I dont know.
Just wanted to chime in and tell you DO NOT use the them, its likely you will damage the amplifiers.

how is it that i can tell (think there was resistor spot or something) on the board to determine what amp is what
2500, 2125, 2250... or the value of the caps?
i just dont recall seeing any master slaves on 2500's..

This question made me curious enough to dig out my amps. My MPS2220 doesn't have them. One of my MPS2240's has them and the other doesn't. And my MPS2500 has them.

interesting- i see...
well in fact i have figured out what i needed to...
thought maybe there was a chance that the surfboard had 2125's in there due to the M/S config going on there- BUT it appears it really truly is a 2500 based on voltage from the rails as per eric, and all that stuff... SO it has been confirmed that it is a 2500- just thought to self that i had never seen a 2500 with M/S config's

FYI - Both sides of my FAS (MQ430 and MS2125) have external Master/Slave ports and internal switches. Both boards are Rev C.

Easiest way to tell the 2500/2125/2250 apart is by looking at the size of the torroids. The MPS are tiny.
