Morel vs. Phoenix Gold Elite Tweeters

Is there a Morel tweeter that is identical or very close to the Phoenix Gold Elite Tweeters? I am in need of a couple of Phoenix ones, but am having no luck finding any. One of my amps went crazy and took out a couple of my tweeters.
Thanks

Only Morel tweeters i can think of (off the top of my head) that would be similar are the MT23's?

someone told me the only dif in the morel and the pg(morel relabled for pg) was the x-over was made to pg specs

The Ti Elites splits are Morel speakers with PG crossovers.
So, if you can source some Ti splits here (there's a pair for sale in Australia), then you're in luck

if you are considering the mt23's make sure they are 4ohm ive seen some that are 6 ohm. im sure the elite tweets are 4ohm ive hooked up some dynaudio 8ohm tweets on my elite crossovers.ever though the sound was better than on my dyn crossovers it was not as good as it should be with the correct ohm load.

by changing the speakers impedence you will also change the frequency the speaker is crossed over at. Just an fyi....

i remember about two different times in the stereo shop someone asked what would happen if you put two midranges on the same crossover.and we were told it would change the frequency but i dont remember if he said it would raise or lower the frequency and how much it would change it.

putting two speakers on the x-over, depending on series or parallel will either double the impedence or cut it in half which will have a HUGE impace on the x-over freq and would not be recomended. I am not going to try and remember the equations from a decade ago but just recomend not doing it.

Same as ohms for power. In other words lower the ohms, the higher the freq. (or the more power from an amp).

to clarify if you where to put a 6 or 8ohm tweet in place of a 4ohm it would lower the cut off freq.also one would think the tweeter would not see as much power. but it seems as though my 8ohm dyns where way louder to the point where the ti5 was bairly being heard.amps at the time where the 0.3 and then the 2125 no sissy amps for me not even on my highs.

To further clarify, just like in theory, a perfect doubling in power from 4 ohm to 2 ohm or vise versa, a doubling in freq from 4 ohm to 2 ohm and vise versa.
Example:
300Hz @ 4 ohms would change to
600Hz @ 2 ohms

I had the same problem 2 months ago...
I burned one of mine Ti1T Elite...but I Temaradrz sold me one that he had. The only issue is that I'll have to change the housing, but I already know how to deal with.
The closest Morel's TW to the Titanium Elite TW, are MT-22. They are exactly the same Impedance Load (3,4 Ohm! Yeah, I have checked it with my Elite TW). I'm using a pair of MT-22 now, while the TiElite arrives.
BUT, IMO my Elites sounded better. I Dunno if its because MT-22 are new or something else is really different.
You can also make a circuit to match impedances between MT-23 and TiXO, but You'll have power losses, but anyway...If someday I have to Buy new TiElites Again, instead I'll get a pair of MT-23 and make the load matching.
Is the better way IMO.
