i think fair price on the hcca425 nib would be about 400us
and the xtr2250 if its real clean about 500-750 upwards if it has box and papers
and the xtr475 i would think in very clean shape 300-500 range.

hope this helps sir :D

OK guys
here's the list with prices he's given me

- XTR2250 US$600 - only visible marks on the mounting screws as it was mounted on the board

- XTR475 US$450 - again, marks on the mounting screws

- XTR275 US$250 - not seen as was in box

- HCCA425 US$450 - brand new, not sure if there was a box (thinking of getting it myself ...)

- 2150SX US$300 - mounted, demo model

other Orion that I didn't ask prices for
2 x 250SX
4 x 230SX

Hifonics GenX demo (they look brand new as they have been in glass cabinets, never actually hooked up)
Son of Colossus US$700
Boltar US$400
Saturn US$300

I'm pretty sure he'd do a package deal if I was to go in and buy a few of them
I know these amps were there a coupla years back and they still haven't sold so ....

I'm really thinking of getting some of them, but suitcases are pretty full already, but I have friends here that can go in there and get them whenever I want-need to ...

. All the xtr475's were pop tops. They didn't come with the dvx2 x-over, they came with a bypass card, kinda like how the zpa's came. Dvx2 was optional. If your going to use the 475 it really shines running mid and hi's @ 2 or 4 ohms...I wouldn't use the 425 hcca on anything but low ohm midbass's or some small sub's..it will work on mid and hi's, but you'll only have about 50 watts or so going to them using the 425. The 425 I had put out 115 watts per ch @ 2 ohms...it is a .25 ohm stable but I'm not sure how long it would last as the hcca's get hot enough to fry egg's and bacon on...lol I wish I didn't sell all my Orion's (still have the Nt's) they are some kickass amps and they sound great!

I'm borrowing this thread for a question since it seems you all know about pricing old Orion amps :) A buddy of mine has a Concept 97.1 amp and 97.2 DSP in good condition, what would this go for as a combo you think?

:hmm: what to do????? I would love to have the 2 xtr475s and a 425 but I think I would have to look for a new home. Can you ask him of he has any of the pins that hold the tops of the amps on. Looks like I need to sell a few things in order to get the Orions

yeah, the guy actually fropped the prices even more when I told him I'd grab 3, ended up paying around US$800 for them.

Even better is I got away through customs with only $75.

All right itchy, I'll bite. Lets see some pics of your wife playing her Wii!

No really, those amps are dead sexy! I'm torn. Just seeing those beauties is giving me the bug, and yet I somehow feel like I'd be cheating on my first love. O:)
