Ok here is the thing, I may buy myself Phonix Gold Route 66 Anniversary Edition for birthday, but seller doesnt have a clue if it is in working condition or not, basicly my old man found it on some german forum as he can understand it, and from what I know, he say it was forgotten for years in some basement, now how much I can maximum pay for it??

It depends on the condition. If its not working, obviously alot less then if it was working. Also cosmetics come into play. Ask the seller for pictures of it, and see if they will have it tested.

you can count on the caps needing to be replaced even before you power it up if they have not been.

I will have some more infos about it 2morrow, what forum and stuff, mabye some photos as well. But from I did understand my oldman, as it can be hard at times, he got message from his friend from germany( i ask him to do it) and now his on the road, so have to wait till 2morrow and i dont think those germans cant speak english or polish at all. This all may be tricky transaction for me... but following some saying, if you dont risk You dont win... mabye worth a hassle for about 300-400 £, what you think??
