look what i came across??!!?!?!?
an in dash TI-EQx
anyone ever seen one??

if not here you go!

nice piece- couple of the front knobs need a dab of glue for the knobs to stay on...other than that it is in great shape!

perhaps belongs in museum...?

has anyone ever seen one before now? this is my first i must admit

where did you score that and did you pay dearly for it or steal it from some unknowing fool? that looks like a sweet unit. gots too be less than 5 of those as there is nothing in the literature. this is what in my mind made PG so cool in those days custom low #'s pieces. Sweet!!

my camera is broken... need to get my back-up cam from where i used to work at... so until then i am stuck with my cell phone...

i will take better pic's though.. give me a day or so.

piece might be up for sale too here shortly- i wanna make sure it works and all that

Think i am going to need a three way plug to connect to power though- not sure i have a three point plug, only 4's perhaps... might have a PLD or something with one though

i was sworn to secrecy and told that if i do share that kind of info - i would be not approached any more about these sorta things.

well not really, but think so anyways! wouldnt want to chance it-

i can say this though... it came from the individual that sold it to me- along with some other goodies...

good question...

but i need suggestions for games/contests...!?! been kinda stumped on that one there- but this particular piece wouldnt/couldnt be a give-a-way for contestant... that would be the regular green-backs game.- BUT i do have all sorts of neat PG chachkas that could be bellied up for contest...

any ideas for a good/fun/simple contest???>

I would be really interested if it actually worked- the one I know of was a no working prototype- open it up and see if it is soldered and functioning?

i have removed cover... yes it's looking all to be soldered up nicely in there... haven't had time yet to throw juice to it just yet... but should be soon...
I DID GET camera working again though, so better pics in just a short bit, maybe will even open'er up too as well...

more info as to what i have been up to lately in shop pics thread... (in just a short bit)

for sale...? for sale you ask...? well it just might be, but it is very hard to come up with pricing/asking number given we/I have never seen one sell fo rretail, or sell used etc.. etc and not sure how to value something that wasnt ever in production, nor ever marketed

any one have ideas?

perhaps just an ebay auction, goes to highest bidder? perhaps that would be the best way to go about it...

maybe with the proper amount of marketing and promotion (some ad's during super bowl, or prime time tv, cable tv approaching all the pertinent demographic watchers and advertise the hell out of it, and then throw it up on the bay for all to see... BUT the only prob with that is that i would prefer it stay in family... could we do a silent auction perhaps?

i duhno- hard to just sell for what i paid for it, which was a lot, but it also came with other things... so perhaps a lil process of elimination or something - i just duhno... i mean there is only one that i am aware of, so it's like gonna go to one person only...

BUT lets see- mayhaps upon finding out it works, easiest thing to do is keep hold of it for short bit... I dunno what to do...

and i am just being honest/forthright with you all.... but i'll figure out something
